Speech Pathologists work with individuals and those who support them (e.g. parents/carers, teachers, support workers, employers) to achieve their communication and/or mealtime goals in a range of settings such as at home, in the classroom, the workplace or the community.
We can provide a personalised assessment and intervention program for individuals who need support with:
- Speech – speaking clearly and being understood
- Stuttering – speaking smoothly
- Voice – what it sounds like and volume
- Swallowing – eating and drinking
- Language – understanding others and putting ideas and thoughts together
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) – using different forms of communication (e.g. communication boards, technology, Key Word Sign)
- Literacy – reading, spelling and written expression
- Play and Social Skills – interacting with others
